LoHi SteakBar Reopens With New Food & Cocktail Menus
On October 10, LoHi SteakBar, a popular spot for mingling, drinking and steak, reopened after a short week of tweaks. Local restaurant heavyweights (and lifelong friends) Joe Pettenger (Osteria Marco) and Taylor Drew (Russell’s Smokehouse and Mizuna) left their posts at Frank Bonanno’s Larimer Square restaurants to partner with Larimer Associates honchos Jeff Hermanson, Joe Vostrejs and Rod Wagner on the revamp. The result: a complete food and cocktail overhaul and a few minor cosmetic changes.

LoHi Steak Bar Reopens Tonight: New Menu, New Approach
After a five day hiatus in which the menu was changed and the space updated, the popular and casual steak bar will reopen under new ownership.  Joe Pettenger and chef Taylor Drew, both Denver restaurant veterans, are reopening the doors to LoHi Steak Bar for dinner. The popular eatery and bar closed on Monday as Pettenger and Drew readied to make their mark on the restaurant located at 32nd and Tejon. The front-of-the-house/chef duo have taken over ownership from longtime Denver chef Sean Kelly and are now operating the five year old restaurant in partnership with Larimer Associates.

LoHi SteakBar Closed Until Friday as New Owners Update Menu, Interior
Fans of LoHi SteakBar will need to find an alternative this week; the restaurant is closed until Friday because of an ownership change. Veteran chef and restaurateur Sean Kelly has left the steakhouse and bar; Joe Pettenger and Taylor Drew, no rookies themselves, are taking over in partnership with Larimer Associates’ Joe Vostrejs, Rod Wagner and Jeff Hermanson. The two new owners expect to have the doors open for 5 p.m. dinner service on Friday, October 10, after a few minor changes to the decor and updates to the food and cocktail menus.

LoHi SteakBar Closed For Revamping, Ownership Changes
The popular restaurant at the corner of 32nd Avenue and Tejon Street will reopen for dinner on Friday after the interior receives minor updates. You’ll notice some changes at LoHi SteakBar later this week, after coming under new ownership. Joe Pettenger and Taylor Drew, both Denver restaurant veterans, have taken over from chef Sean Kelly, who opened the neighborhood steak-and-burger concept in partnership with the Larimer Associates back in 2009.
