Soup for the Soul

Chef Sean Kelly is excited to participate in the 12th annual Soup for the Soul, a fundraising event for Porter Hospice and St. Anthony Hospice. The unique event brings together some of the best chefs in Denver to showcase a wide array of gourmet soups and appetizers. Guests will have the rare opportunity to mingle with the chefs and sample fare from 17 of the metro area’s most notable restaurants. The event will be held on Thursday, February 23 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. To purchase tickets, visit www.soupforthesouldenver.org.

Shout Out That Quote

Put on your thinking caps because this is going to be fun! Several months ago, LoHi SteakBar debuted its first, in a series of t-shirts to feature a great quote about steak. Now it’s time to roll out the second totally-awesome shirt and we thought we would let YOU pick the quote! Beginning on Monday, January 23, come in to LoHi to submit your favorite quote about steak. Entries will be accepted until March 5 at which time, a panel of judges will select the best quote to be used on the next LoHi SteakBar t-shirt. You can make one up (if you’re super creative) or you can submit one that someone else has already come up with. If the quote you contribute is selected, you will receive:
- The quote featured on the t-shirt along with your name
- SteakBar Steak dinners for two for 4 months (if the quote is by someone else) or 12 months (if the quote is your very own original)
- Bragging rights as basically the unofficial MAYOR of LoHi SteakBar

Denver Restaurant Week

LoHi SteakBar is excited to once again participate in Denver Restaurant Week February 25 through March 9, 2012. Denver Restaurant Week is a two-week celebration of the culinary scene in Denver. Participating restaurants will offer a multi-course dinner for a fixed price of $52.80 for two, or $26.40 for one (not including tax and gratuity.) LoHi SteakBar’s menu will feature: First Course: Each guest selects one appetizer of choice; Second Course: Each guest selects one entree (selections include SteakBar Steak or Broiled Salmon Filet); Third Course: Choice of Amarena Cherry Cheesecake, Double Chocolate Pudding or Lemon Tart for sharing.  LoHi is now accepting reservations for Denver Restaurant Week.
